James Patrick Kelly here. I write science fiction and fantasy. I've published a lot. For instance, I've won the Hugo award twice and the Nebula once. But what have I done for you lately? A couple of years ago, I started posting mp3 files of me reading my own stuff on my website, www.jimkelly.net. Now I'm podcasting. Things change.

The Edge of Nowhere Part Three
I'm off for yet another trip, so I'm posting this episode early (yay!) but I'll probably be late on the next (boo!). In any event, here is Part Three (the last part!) of a new (old) story, "The Edge of Nowhere" which was first published in Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine in June, 2005. It was subsequently reprinted in the YEAR'S BEST SCIENCE FICTION #11, edited by David Hartwell and Kathryn Cramer from Harper/Eos and SCIENCE FICTION: THE BEST OF THE YEAR, edited by Rich Horton from Prime Books, so it must have had something going for it!
